The terms, in plain language.
These terms cover buying and using IntelliBOM. They are written to be read, not to be skimmed past — if any of it is unclear, email support@intellibom.ca and ask before you buy. By installing or subscribing to IntelliBOM you agree to what follows.
Who you are contracting with
IntelliBOM is published by Inteledome, a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Inteledome” mean that business; “you” means the person or organisation holding a seat.
Contact: support@intellibom.ca. There is no ticket queue — the developer answers directly.
Payments are handled by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for every sale. Paddle is the seller on your invoice and handles payment processing, sales tax, VAT and GST. We never see or store your card details. Paddle’s own terms apply to the payment transaction itself.
The free tier and the paid seat
The free tier is free indefinitely. No card, no time limit, no feature locks. It is limited by design size only — see the FAQ for the current limit, which IntelliBOM also displays in-app and in every export header. We may adjust that limit as we tune it against real production assemblies; we will not reduce it without saying so on this site.
A paid seat removes the design-size limit. It costs USD $149 per seat per year, before any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies where you are (see section 04), and renews annually until cancelled.
A seat follows a person, not a machine. Your licence binds to the Autodesk account that activates it. You may install and use IntelliBOM on as many computers as you personally work on — laptop, desktop, workstation — with no device limit and no re-activation dance. What you may not do is share one seat between several people; that is what a second seat is for.
What we do not promise: IntelliBOM is a Fusion 360 add-in and depends on Autodesk Fusion, which is not ours. If Autodesk changes or withdraws an API we rely on, we will do our best to adapt, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every future Fusion release.
What you may and may not do
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use IntelliBOM for your own commercial or personal design work, for as long as your seat is current. You are buying the right to use the software; you are not buying the software itself.
Your work is yours. Every BOM, export, report and document IntelliBOM produces from your designs belongs to you. We claim nothing in it and we never receive a copy — that data does not leave your machine.
You may not: resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute IntelliBOM; share a seat with other people; reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it, or attempt to defeat, patch or circumvent its licensing; or remove any copyright or attribution notice. Where applicable law gives you a right to decompile for interoperability that cannot be excluded by contract, that right is unaffected by this paragraph.
Intellectual property. IntelliBOM, its source code, its documentation and the IntelliBOM name and marks remain the property of Inteledome.
How the subscription runs
Term and renewal. A seat runs for one year from activation and renews automatically for a further year unless you cancel. Prices are in US dollars; Paddle may present a converted amount in your local currency.
Cancelling. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from the Paddle customer portal — the link is in the receipt Paddle emailed you — or by writing to support@intellibom.ca. Cancelling stops the next charge; it does not end your current year. Your seat stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Taxes. The $149 price is stated exclusive of sales tax, VAT, GST and equivalent transaction taxes, except where local law requires a tax-inclusive price to be shown. Paddle calculates and collects the tax due for your location, so the total displayed at checkout before you confirm — not the headline price — is the amount you will be charged. If you are buying for a business, enter your business tax number at checkout so the invoice is issued correctly and any reverse-charge treatment is applied. Any tax not collected by Paddle remains your responsibility.
Price changes. If we change the price of a seat, the new price applies from your next renewal, never mid-term, and Paddle will notify you before it takes effect.
Invoices. Paddle issues a compliant invoice for every payment and you can download past invoices yourself from the customer portal at any time.
If it isn’t right for you
The free tier is the trial. It has no time limit and no feature locks, so you can run IntelliBOM on real work — every document, every bundle, every export — before you ever pay. We would rather you never bought a seat than bought one that does not help you.
Our refund terms are set out in full on the Refund Policy page, which forms part of these terms.
To request a refund, email support@intellibom.ca with your Paddle order number.
What happens if our licence server is down
IntelliBOM checks your seat status over the internet periodically. We have deliberately designed that check so it cannot lock you out of your own work.
If the check cannot reach us, IntelliBOM keeps working normally on your last known-good status for a grace period. If that grace period runs out — or if your seat has genuinely lapsed — IntelliBOM falls back to the free tier. It does not refuse to start, it does not go read-only, and it does not hold your files hostage. Everything you have set up stays where it is, and a successful check restores your full seat automatically.
We do not promise a specific uptime figure for the licence service. We do promise that its failure degrades your experience rather than ending it.
What IntelliBOM is for, and what it is not for
IntelliBOM is a design and procurement aid. It is built, priced and sold for business and professional use — engineering, manufacturing and procurement work. It is not a consumer product and we do not market it as one.
It is not certified for safety-critical use, and must not be relied on for it. Do not use IntelliBOM as the basis of any decision where an error could contribute to death, personal injury, or environmental damage — including lifting, rigging, transport, structural or load-bearing calculations — and do not use its output as the basis of a regulatory or certification submission. Mass, quantity and cost figures are computed from your CAD model and the rates you supply. They are engineering estimates for planning, not certified measurements.
Verifying the output is your responsibility. You will check quantities, masses and costs before ordering or cutting material, issuing a purchase order, or quoting a price to a third party. IntelliBOM’s figures depend on the accuracy and completeness of your CAD model, your material and rate data, and your allowance settings — and IntelliBOM cannot detect an error in any of those inputs. A confident-looking number is not a checked number.
Provided “as is”
INTELLIBOM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
In plain language: IntelliBOM computes quantities, masses, stock and costs from the data in your Fusion design and the settings you supply. It is an aid to your engineering judgement, not a substitute for it. Check its output before you cut material, place a purchase order, or quote a customer. We cannot warrant that it is free of defects or that its figures are correct for every design.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply to the fullest extent permitted by law, and nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to IntelliBOM is limited to the fees you actually paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, wasted material, production delays, or procurement decisions made on the basis of IntelliBOM’s output — even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Time limit for claims. Any claim under these terms must be brought within twelve (12) months of the event giving rise to it.
Third-party claims. If you use IntelliBOM’s output in your own dealings — a purchase order to a supplier, a quotation to a customer — that document is yours, issued by you, and you are responsible for it. You will indemnify us against claims brought by a third party arising from your use of IntelliBOM’s output.
Ending the agreement
You may stop using IntelliBOM at any time and cancel auto-renewal as described above.
We may suspend or terminate a seat if it is used in breach of these terms — in particular seat-sharing, redistribution, or attempts to circumvent licensing. Where the breach is capable of being remedied we will contact you first and give you a reasonable chance to put it right.
When a seat ends, for whatever reason, the paid licence is revoked and IntelliBOM reverts to the free tier. Your data is not deleted and your settings are not touched — they live on your own machine and in your own Fusion designs, and remain yours.
Sections 03 (intellectual property), 07, 08, 09 and 11 (governing law) survive termination.
Export control, changes, and governing law
Export compliance. You may not use or export IntelliBOM in violation of Canadian, US or other applicable export-control laws, and you confirm you are not located in, or acting on behalf of, an embargoed jurisdiction or a sanctioned party.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms as the product and the business change. The version on this page is the current one and carries its effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will give notice before it applies to your seat — and it will not apply retroactively to a term you have already paid for.
Assignment. You may not transfer your seat to another person without our written agreement. We may transfer these terms as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business, on notice to you.
Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country of residence.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Refund Policy and the Privacy Notice, are the whole agreement between us about IntelliBOM. They replace any earlier discussion or correspondence. Marketing material describes what IntelliBOM is designed to do; the warranty position is the one set out in section 08, not one implied by a product description. Nothing in this paragraph excludes liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.
