What we collect, and what we don't.
IntelliBOM runs inside your Fusion 360 session. It has no analytics, no telemetry, and no background tracking. The only data that ever leaves your machine is what you send us deliberately — a licence check at launch, and a bug report when you click Report a Bug. This notice explains exactly what each one contains.
What IntelliBOM stores and sends
On your machine (never transmitted): your BOM data — materials, stock, vendors, prices, allowances, templates, company profile — lives inside your Fusion designs and in %APPDATA%/IntelliBOM/*.json. It stays on your computer.
At launch: a licence check confirms your seat status over the same connection Fusion already requires to start. It carries your licence key and Fusion account id — nothing about your designs.
When you click Report a Bug (only then): IntelliBOM packages your recent debug log (which may contain component names from the open design), your system information (IntelliBOM/Fusion/Python versions, OS), the description you type, and an optional reply email. The zip is built locally and saved to your Documents folder so you can review it before it is sent. No telemetry. No analytics. No automatic crash uploads.
Who else touches the data
Three service providers, each for one narrow purpose:
Paddle — processes payments and stores billing details. We never see your card number.
HostGator — hosts intellibom.ca and receives the bug-report upload.
SendGrid — delivers the bug-report email (with your zip attached) to our support inbox.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone else, and we run no advertising or third-party analytics.
How long we keep things
Licence & billing records: kept for 7 years to satisfy Canadian tax-audit requirements.
Bug-report emails: kept only as long as needed to resolve the issue, then deleted.
Trial state: stored locally and cleared when you reset it.
Access, correct, or delete
Under PIPEDA (Canada) and the GDPR (EU) you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email support@intellibom.ca with the subject “GDPR / PIPEDA — delete my data”. We respond within 30 days.
